Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design

What we need in our community

(An open letter by Kathy Mojsovski)

Here are some things that I believe we need in our community:

1. Better communication with the O.P.P.  For example, when a break and enter occurs in our subdivision, there should be a way (if possible) that the O.P.P. contacts the Neighbourhood Watch (NW) Administrator, so they can post the updates/occurrences on social media asap—so neighbours can protect themselves, their families and property ASAP (vs. waiting to hear from someone the next day or week after the occurrence;
